Gran Branding for Gran Turismo29th September 2010
The FIA GT1 World Championship brand designed by Interstate was headlined this week on UnderConsideration.com/BrandNew, the “growing network and enterprise dedicated to the progress of the graphic design profession and its practitioners, students and enthusiasts”.
BrandNew is a ‘must-visit’ site with a great cross section of brands currently rolling out across the globe and a showcase for only the good and the brave; as opinions good and bad are welcome.
The brand certainly raised a debate about what a racing identity should consist of. Very interesting to review the comments as people came online; from besotted love to absolute hate. Can’t please all people, but on the whole it seems well received and it’s a nice reminder of just how much effort went into this brand to ensure consistency and capture the energy of the sport, on and off the track.
