Nothing left but brand…17th February 2011
Spotted on the tube this morning, two mobile phone operators coming together to share each other’s networks. This partnership allows the companies to expand their coverage for their customers; but removes a key reason for why you may join a certain provider – network coverage.
As the price packages are all very similar, all that is left is how the brand communicates and both have different customers and tone of voice. Who you sign up with now purely depends on which brand resonates with you. Their adverts are of particular interest as they are identical aside from brand styling.
If coverage, price and phone deal were identical, which brand would you prefer?
