Passing the local library, I stumbled upon a graphic designers dream; a collection of Olympic posters showcasing the past century of games. Styles have changed over the years from strong, almost propaganda style glorious paintings, to minimalist iconic graphic art. In my opinion, the style peaked in Mexico ’68 (main image).

Lotus Evora Cup GT4 Photo Shoot

Yesterday I visited the Lotus Cars factory in Norfolk to photograph the new Evora Cup GT4 with renowned motorsport and automotive photographer Patrick Gosling. The day long shoot coincided with the car’s shakedown track testing session in the morning at the company’s Hethel Test Track before moving on to Snetterton Circuit in the afternoon to really put the car through its paces!

While researching for a current project we’re working on in the studio I discovered some wonderful historical posters for the Monaco Grand Prix. Produced between 1930 and 1984, and illustrated by artists including Geo Ham and Michael Turner, they have provided a great source of inspiration and each beautifully encapsulate the motor racing atmosphere of their day.
